Landfillart Project

Landfillart is an international effort encompassing 1,041 artists reclaiming used metal or plastic hubcaps to create fine art. The project is still in its infancy and is proposed to be completed by 2012. The project can be divided into three parts: The inviting of artists and collecting of finished pieces which are displayed on the web site, the publishing of a book showcasing the project and finally the selecting of 200 pieces that represents the program for a traveling exhibition.
